I just had one of those "life moves so fast" realization moments. It's very strange...

It's just weird. I'm just thinking about memories and how life has changed, and it's just strange to think that some things were actually a lot longer ago than they seem. Things are changing all the time, which is cool but I wish sometimes that I could go revisit other times in my life just to be in that time again, not even because it was particularly special, but just to appreciate the difference of then vs. now.

See my reply to Denver. It's not necessarily something in particular, just a broad realization.

I work at a bi weekly newspaper. I lose track of months/weeks so fast even though I am very aware of the dates from due dates and folios on page I see all the time. I will call my parents and think it was two weeks ago I talked to them and it was more like a month and a half. Maybe that's a personal issue though

I totally feel you on that one. It's like I see the dates and all that but I don't actually realize it. And I used to be even worse about it, I just plowed through 6 months somehow and it's like I thought it was going normally, but looking back at it, it seemed so rushed.

I'm 25 in about a month and a half. At this rate days are going to turn in to hours.

It gets worst before it gets better. I'm on the verge of turning 30 and I simply can't keep up with life. A year used to feel like 2, now it feels like 4 months. It all started when I moved from New-Brunswick Canada to Alberta Canada. I moved in 2006(I was 21) and life just seem to be steady not to rushed lots of time to do stuff, now 8 years later I'm married, have a mortgage, Stressful job, ect. When you really sit down and think about it in 10 years I'll be 40!!! It's true when they say life is too short. When I was 20 I felt like it was just starting and now I realize that at this pace I'll be 80 in no time.
life is now going at this speed for me.

Yeah, I bet... My dad has that perspective that it starts going by even faster, he occasional brings up (usually around my/my sister's birthday) how he can't beleive that we're already grown up and adults.

How'd I miss this comment? It must've happened while kinja was acting up. Anyway, I know how ya feel. I remember my cousin's birth, granted I was 6 at the time, But now he's almost 15 and a freshman in high school. Man does that make me feel old
